Since those instructions didn't work, I recommend performing a reinstall on your QuickBooks for Mac using clean install. Here's how:
- Uninstall QuickBooks Mac Desktop
- Remove QuickBooks PLIST files.
- Restart your device.
- Reinstall QuickBooks.
