You assume small businesses have an "IT guy," never mind miniscule business like mine. How about Quickbooks makes Desktop changes so that small businesses don't need an "IT guy" to fix every little thing that goes wrong? I've spent unbillable hours and hours trying to import iif data, trying to interpret "fixes" and vaguely explained solutions that say follow the steps and there are no steps. Quickbooks is going to put me out of business. And Qbooks tech support doesn't support this iif import issue, that, from what I've read, a huge number of users experience. It's unconscionable, especially since Qbooks has gone subscription for Desktop (no argument from me - I totally understand), but for that price, I should have access to knowledgeable support who can actually help fix the problem. It's year end, and I can't import my client's data - you're going to give me a heart attach from the stress of it. Rant over.
