Hello there! Thank you for posting here in the Community. I appreciate the steps you've performed when trying to open your QuickBooks Desktop file.
We can run the Verify Data tool which self-identifies the most commonly known data issues within a company file. Then, try running the Rebuild Data to resolve data integrity issues. Here's how to Verify data:
- Choose Window then Close All.
- Verify Data. Choose File then Utilities.
- Tap Verify Data.
For detailed information, try searching for the problem message you are seeing on our QuickBooks Desktop help website. You may have data damage in the file if the system alerts you that your data has lost integrity. Rebuilding the data is still being done to fix the issue.
Once done, try rebuilding data by following the steps below:
- Choose File, Utilities then Rebuild Data.
- You will receive a warning message to back up your company file, press OK. A rebuild requires a company file backup beforehand because in rare cases the process may need to delete transactions or list entries to fix the file. A backup of your company file will ensure you have a secured copy of your company file before any changes are made to it.
- Choose where you want to save your backup, then tap OK at the bottom of the QuickBooks Desktop Backup window.
- Click OK when you get the message "Rebuild has completed".
