Thanks for your input, it is interesting. we had been using Enterprise and switched to pro because we went to an MRP system but decided to maintain Accounting in quickbooks. we moved our company to Quickbooks pro basically setting up a new company. However for archive purposes we maintain the Enterprise version so they can look up history, That explains why this problem is so Random. it sure would be nice if Quickbooks could pay attention and fix this issue instead of forcing everyone where they want to go especially when they should recogize that many people using their software have to maintain multiple versions.
