Other questions

I appreciate you for joining the thread, @treasurer487. I'm here, and let's work this out so you can use the Autofill feature in your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

Before we do so, I'd like to know if you've already tried performing the Verify and Rebuild. This feature allows QuickBooks to check for possible data issues within your company file. Once it detects data damage, the program will begin fixing it.

If you haven't tried this method of troubleshooting, I'll gladly input the steps below so you can proceed. But before we do that, I recommend turning off the QuickFill feature in your company. Here's how:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Desktop company.
  2. Go to Preferences.
  3. On the Preferences pane, select Data Entry.
  4. Set the preferencess described below to Off.

After turning the QuickFill feature, here are the steps to verify your company file data:

  1. Select File, then select Utilities.
  2. Select Verify Data, then select OK to close all windows. If you see “Your data has failed the integrity check” you need to rebuild your file. If there are no problems with your data, you’re done.

Please see this article for further guidelines: Verify and rebuild data in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

Once you're with the process, you can turn on the QuickFill feature again for it to work.

Additionally, you can visit this page in case you'd like to use electronic payments in QBDT for mac: Turn on online payments in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

I'll also leave this article about how to add other details to a report in QBDT: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

@treasurer487, feel free to get back in the thread if you need further assistance with this. I'll make to help you right away. Take care, and have a good one.
