I was getting message "Missing PDF component" when I opened QB 2023 Accountant's Desktop edition
I got rid of the message :
Press Windows key + R
Open: enter optional features & click OK
new window displays Windows features
click box next to Microsoft XPS Document Writer (box should now have a checkmark)
click OK
I opened Quickbooks and message didn't display
