Hello, adamabel1.
We appreciate you sharing the information found in the QuickBooks server utility log. I also appreciate what you did to make QuickBooks accessible on a hosted server.
QuickBooks Pro Plus 2022 is compatible with Windows Server 2019 if you're using it. A feature of QuickBooks called QBDBMgrN, also known as QuickBooks Database Server Manager, enables multiple users to access the database and company files stored on a hosted server.
The message "qbdbmgrn not running on this computer server" could have been caused by several things. Look at the reasons listed below:
- QuickBooks Database Server Manager is disabled on the computer.
- Interference of the security firewall.
- Damaged Network descriptor file.
- The QBCFMonitorService.exe file is either missing or damaged in your service.
- An outdated QBDBMgrN version might prevent access to company files.
- Windows firewall is not updated.
I'll provide more troubleshooting instructions to resolve this. Make sure your Windows Firewall is updated first.
Here's how:
- Close the QuickBooks application.
- Type Windows + R on your keyboard and write Control firewall.cpl in the provided area.
- Hit Enter and then open Windows Firewall.
- Under the Update your FirewallSettings section click Check for Updates.
- Select Update Now, then Use Recommended Settings options and check if an update is available.
- Restart your computer and then open QuickBooks.
If the QuickBooks Database Server Manager Service is still unable to start, let's restart it. I'll show you how.
- Type Windows + R, then enter services.msc in the Run box, and click Enter.
- Now scroll down and search for the service named one of these QuickBooksDB26, QuickBooksDB28, QuickBooksDB29, or QuickBooksDB27.
- Right-click on the exact service and then click the Restart option.
I strongly advise getting in touch with our QuickBooks Desktop Support if the problem continues. They have the tools necessary to conduct a screen-sharing to further investigate the underlying cause of it.

Please leave a comment below if there is any other way I can assist you with QuickBooks. I would be delighted to offer assistance.
