Hi, jn5300. Joining this thread to share additional information you need about the default browser and find the name and green dot within your company file.
The custom browser is available in QuickBooks Desktop Pro/Premier/Enterprise/Accountant, released in 2020, 2021, and 2022. As advised, we can update your QuickBooks to the latest version to get this done. I'll show you how:
- Go to the Downloads & Updates page.
- Select the country, product, & version and click the Search button.
- Click the Get the latest updates link.
- After downloading the updates, navigate to the Downloads folder of your computer. Then, double-click the update file to initiate the installation process.
- Follow the prompts on the screen to install the updates.
- Restart your computer after the update is installed successfully.
If the same thing happens, please contact us so we can check your account and figure out why it's not showing on your end. To contact us, open QuickBooks Desktop and click the Help menu. Then, select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
Since you're unsure what bank feed modes you're using now, we can go to Preferences to review your setup. It helps you see your name and green dot shared in this thread. Here's how:
- Be sure to upgrade QuickBooks to the most recent version.
- Be in single-user mode before switching modes. To switch between modes, go to the QuickBooks File menu, then select Switch to Single-user Mode/Switch to Multi-user Mode.
- Go to Edit> Preferences> Checking> Company Preferences.
- In the Bank Feeds section, review the setup. If it needs to change, select Express Mode/ Advanced Mode/Classic Mode.
- Then, click OK.
