I can help ensure you'll get rid of the 103 error message you're getting when logging in to your account, bburches.
QuickBooks error 103 occurs when your QuickBooks Online sign-in credentials don’t match your bank’s website.
Here are the primary reasons why you receive the error 103:
- You have entered the wrong credentials while trying to connect to your financial institution for the first time.
- You have selected the wrong financial institution (there are often many to select from).
- If you are currently connected and you’ve updated your credentials with your financial institution, you need to update the information in QuickBooks Online.
To fix the error, let's confirm your sign-in information is correct. Please follow these steps:
- Open a new window in your web browser and go directly to your bank’s website.
- Make a note of the web address (e.g. https://www.bank.com). This may come in handy later.
- Sign in with the user ID and password you have.
- Note: If you have separate accounts with the bank (such as a business account and a personal account), sign in to the account you want to fix in QuickBooks.
- If you sign in successfully, know the user ID and password are correct. If you get a sign-in error, follow your bank’s instructions to get your user ID, reset your password, or both.
Once done, you can proceed to Steps 2 and 3 in this article: Fix bank error 103.
