Are you having trouble logging in to QuickBooks Desktop Pro? I'm here to help you out.
Beforehand, did you encounter any error messages when logging in? This way, we'll be able to investigate this.
If you forgot your credentials, let's click on the I forgot my password button to recover your login information. Then, enter your phone number, email address, or user ID, then click Continue. For more details, please see this article: Reset your Password for QuickBooks Desktop.
In case the forgot reset didn't work, let's use the Automated Password Reset Tool to help you access your company file.
Also, you can change the password of your users in QuickBooks to keep your data secure. To learn how, please follow these steps:
- Sign in as the admin user.
- Go to Company, select Set Up Users and Passwords.
- Select Set Up Users.
- If prompted, enter the admin password again.
- In the User List, select the user that needs to change their password. Then, click Edit User.
- Enter a new password.
- Select Next twice, then click on Finish.
