I have another way to contact our support without opening QuickBooks Desktop, @R Houghton. Happy to outline the steps to achieve your task.
Accessing your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) is my highest priority. This way, you can get back where you left off. Before routing you to our support team, may I ask the following question below:
- Did you receive any error messages while opening your QBDT account? If yes, can you provide the exact wording of the error in detail? This will help me check our reports and furnish you with other troubleshooting steps.
- Have you done the solutions outlined by my colleagues above? If not yet, I'd suggest doing so.
In addition, ensure that you and your client's computer meet the QBDT 2022 system requirements and have updated patches to help isolate the crash issue. Please note that QuickBooks requires you to use Windows natively and not through an emulator or virtual environment.
