Guys, lets spell this out exactly, NO ONE IN THIS THREAD IS TALKING ABOUT PASSWORDS TO THE COMPANY FILES
DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT STATEMENT? NOT the password for a company file that quickbooks secures.
We are talking about double clicking on the quickbooks icon on our desktops, and being challenged for elevated credentials JUST TO RUN Quickbooks. We have even gotten to the password that quickbooks asks for opening a company file.
DO YOU UNDERSTAND THIS PROBLEM NOW?
How do we stop quickbooks from asking to run with an elevated / COMPUTER Administrator passwords? Again this is not a quickbooks password, but a COMPUTER Administrator password.
(my god I would have thought that when the previous users posted images showing the password prompt is not inside qb but is from the computer being asked to run QB with elevated permissions you people would have finally understood .. but it seems not)
