Tried that too - didn't work. Still crashing intermittently.

So, I unchecked that feature, and I also selected "Don't save the desktop" (edit/preferences/desktop view). Since doing these 2 things, it hasn't crashed...and yes my *&%^ fingers are crossed 😂. Apparently this has something to do with the home page...as useless as that is anyway.
