I can help you with opening your company file, @michellecof.

QuickBooks Desktop for Mac 2019 R13 and later versions work well with macOS 12 Monterey. To open the company file successfully, update your QuickBooks for Mac to the latest release

Here's how to perform the in-product update:

  1. Go to the QuickBooks dropdown and select Check for QuickBooks Updates.
  2. If a newer version is available, select Install Update.
  3. When prompted, select Install and Relaunch.
  4. Once done, QuickBooks for Mac automatically opens.

If you'd like to update it manually by uninstalling QuickBooks for Mac and reinstalling the latest version, check out this article: Update QuickBooks for Mac to the latest release. That'll guide you on how to restore your company file right after.
