Thanks for posting in the Community. I'm here to help fix your icon bar in QuickBooks.
Let's suppress your QuickBooks first to reset the settings. Here's how:
- Right-click the QuickBooks Desktop icon, press and hold the Ctrl key, then select Open.
- Do not release the Ctrl key until you have the No Company Open window unless QuickBooks freezes or gives you an error.
- Open the company file.
Once done, change the icon bar's setting to the top. Then let's make sure to save the desktop view. Here's how:
- Go to Edit menu and select Preferences.
- On the left side panel, choose Desktop View.
- Click the Company Preferences folder and select the Save current desktop.
- Once done, click the OK tab.
