Quick response to the reply's...
My use case follows:
- I log in to QB a couple times per month to do my books and billing. It is not open all the time.
- Since the last update, I have not been able to open QB. I'll open it and it immediately crashes. Or 30 seconds after I open it, it crashes
- I have rebooted, reinstalled several times.
- I am running windows 10-pro and have the latest updates
After renaming my company file folder and creating a new folder, I copied the .qbw, qbw.dsn and qbw.nd for my company file into the new, originally named folder.
This is not a long term fix and there is definitely something wrong but it worked for me and I was able to get my work done. Hope this helps!
After this, quickbooks started and I was able to do my work, which in this case was billing.
