Yes, they published a 'fix", which at partially resolves the issue, but, at least for 2021Premier does not yet solve the whole problem and creates a couple of new "bugs".
Current release, all updated, yet the F1 key now doesn't work properly and for some browser activities, Intuit's "own" browser gets used and for others, the OS default browser is getting called and spurious javascript errors are still being thrown during startup and at various points, particularily in the preferences sections.
And if you actually uninstall IE, you still get blocked unless you use the registry hack posted in Fix to the issue of Quickbooks won't open without ... (intuit.com) the hack
While the hack does generate a couple of errors on startup, at least it restores access to Quickbooks.
All of this points to a rushed programming project with inadequate testing time allowed for. So unnecessary given that was a years-old known issue.
Fortunately, our parallel migration to a more robust accounting platform is progressing well, even though the cost is will be somewhat higher.
In the meantime, we'll keep an old legacy PC for Quickbooks.
