Can you share the error you're getting when transferring the primary role in QuickBooks Online (QBO). This way, we can provide the right steps in addressing the issue.

 

If you already did the suggested troubleshooting steps, I'd recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Phone Support. This way, they can provide you with further assistance in transferring the access. Here's how to connect with them:

 

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right hand corner and click Talk to a human.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human", then press Enter.
  3. Look for I still need a human and click on it.
  4. Select Get help from a human.
  5. Choose between Chat with usSchedule an appointment, or Have us call you.

Take note, you'll have to gather documents as proof of the ownership of the company.
