Let me add some information and make sure you're able to open and use QuickBooks Desktop.
Each version of QuickBooks has its corresponding system requirements. For QuickBooks Desktop 2020, it requires an Internet Explorer 11 as your browser. Since it's an updated software, it should work with an updated browser to be able to run QuickBooks seamlessly.
Also, make sure to set Internet Explorer as your default browser. Let me show you the steps on how to set it up.
Here's how:
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Go to the Gear icon in the upper right corner.
- Select Internet Options.
- Go to Programs tab.
- Under Opening Internet Explorer section, tap on the hyperlink Make Internet Explorer the default browser.
- In the Windows settings, select Internet Explorer as default Web browser.
