Other Questions

Hello, @Dime56.

There are several potential reasons why you may not be able to find or connect to your bank. Here are the most common scenarios:

  • Your bank may be listed under multiple names in our system.
  • Your bank is not a participating financial institution that supports a direct connection.
  • Some banks don't connect to all types of accounts (e.g., personal vs business accounts).
  • Your bank might be undergoing system maintenance.

We can try pasting your bank's URL during the bank linking process. If FNB still doesn't appear in the list, it means the bank is not currently supported for a direct connection in QBO. In this case, we can manually upload you bank file (CSV or QBO file) into QBO. Here's how:

  1. Go to All apps, then select Accounting
  2. Head to Bank transactions
  3. Navigate to the Link account dropdown.
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to upload your file.

If FNB does appear in the list, this confirms the bank is supported for direct connection, and issue could be due to a specific bank error.

If you are receiving an error while linking your account, please visit this article to find the error code and follow the suggested steps to fix it: Troubleshoot and fix banking errors.

If the bank error you encounter is not listed in the article I provided, could you please let us know the specific error message you are receiving? Knowing the error message will help us pinpoint the issue quickly and provide the most direct solution.
