Hello there. I'll share some information on how you can activate your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
You manually activate your QBDT account using these steps:
- Open your QBDT company and select the Help menu.
- Next, click the Activate QuickBooks Desktop option.
- From there, follow the steps on the screen to verify your info.

However, since your QBDT version is no longer supported, you can reach out to our Phone Support team to further help you activate it. They can pull up your account in a secure place and provide a validation code that you can use. Here's how:
- Go to the Help menu and select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
- Next, click Contact Us.
- From there, enter a brief description of your issue. Example: Activate QBDT 2016.
- Next, select Continue.
- Sign in to your Intuit account and select Continue and then Continue with my account.
- You'll receive a single-use code. Enter it and select Continue.
- Select to Chat with us or Have us call you.
