Hi there, katpritchett.
Thanks for letting us know that this is the second time you’re receiving this error. I can point you in the right direction so you can connect PayPal smoothly.
I checked with my resources and we don’t have reports about the issue. Now, I have some new steps to help you get back on track.
Sometimes your browser stores too much data which can cause unusual behavior in QBO. To check if this is the case, you'll want to use a private or incognito window.
Here’s how:
- Press Ctrl + Shift + N keys on your keyboard (Google Chrome).
- Press Ctrl + Shift + P keys on your keyboard (Firefox or Internet Explorer).
- Press Control + Option + P keys on your keyboard (Safari).
If you can connect PayPal via these sessions, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache. This process will increase the overall performance of QBO and other websites.
If you continue to get the same result, I recommend contacting our QBO Customer Care Team. They have tools to check your online banking connection in a secure environment.
If there are other users experiencing the problem, they can open a ticket for further investigation. The most up to date contact information can be found here:
- Go to Help at the top, then click on the Contact Us link.
- In the What can we help you with? window, enter contact support in the field box.
- In the Choose a way to connect with us section, select Chat or Get a callback.
That should point you in the right direction.
If you have additional questions or concerns about QBO, please post a comment below. I’m always here to help you.
