Many banks refresh transactions in QuickBooks every 24 hours, though the timing can vary. Since your bank account is no longer showing updates, let's do it manually. Here's how:
For Android:
- From the bottom menu, tap Transactions.
- Go to the three dots in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Select Manage bank connections, then choose the bank account you want to update.
- Tap the Refresh icon.
For IOS:
- Tap Menu in the lower-right corner, then Transactions.
- Select the three dots in the upper-right corner of the page, then choose Manage bank connections.
- Tap your bank account, then hit the Refresh icon to update.
If your situation is about Open Banking regulations, you need to reconfirm your bank connection every 90 days.
QuickBooks will notify you when it’s time to renew. You can also select the original expiry date to retrieve any missed transactions and manage all connections from the Bank Transactions page.
