Other Questions

I understand how you want QuickBooks Online (QBO) to work the way it used to. Let me guide you on what to do so it fixes the issue, Rishi.

Slow performance occurs due to various reasons. This includes outdated plugins, excessive use of system resources, or slow internet speed. To have optimal performance, you'll have to make sure that you're using the recommended operating systems your computer has.

  • Windows PC: Windows 10, Intel Core i5, or comparable processor (2015 or newer) with at least 4 GB of RAM. You also need an Adobe Reader 11.0 or higher to print forms.
  • Mac: OS X "Big Sur" 11.1 or newer.
  • Internet connection: 3 MBPS or higher.

Aside from that, Intuit recommends Google Chrome as the default browser for QBO. Other web browsers  like Firefox, Safari, and Opera have similar capabilities but may look different while performing the function. QuickBooks supports the current and two previous versions of the browser and doesn't support older versions. Internet Explorer is no longer a supported browser. I've provided a list below of the supported browsers:

  • Google Chrome: Version 78 or newer
  • Mozilla Firefox: Version 76 or newer. Note: To preview and print forms on Mac OS, you need the Firefox PDF plugin.
  • Microsoft Edge: version 75 or newer
  • Safari: version 12 or newer (Mac only)
