Other Questions

I'll answer your question about data management when moving to a different type of subscription, Efferp.

When changing your subscription, there's no need to import your data since it will remain on the same account. However, please note that certain features may not be available if you downgrade to a lower plan. These features include recurring transactions, bill management, and MTD.

To ensure a smooth downgrade, follow these steps to turn off the recurring transaction feature before downgrading your account:

  1. Go to the Gear or Settings ⚙ icon and select Recurring transactions.
  2. Select a template and click the drop-down list for Edit.
  3. Click Pause and then Pause again to confirm.

Additionally, depending on the plan you are downgrading to, you may need to remove users. You can find more information about user limits for each plan in these articles:

Once done, proceed to these steps to finally change your subscription:

  1. Sign in to the account as an admin.
  2. Go to the Gear or Settings ⚙ icon and select Subscriptions and billing.
  3. Under the QuickBooks Online section, click Downgrade your plan.
  4. Look for Simple start and then select Choose plan.
  5. Follow the onscreen steps to downgrade your plan.
