I totally understand how changes can be a little challenging at times. For now, there's no option to switch back to the old layout. 

Most of the updates are actually based from the feedback and suggestions that we received from customers like you. I would recommend sending a feature request about being able to revert back to the old layout. You can do it inside QuickBooks by following these steps:

1. Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
2. Type in your feedback and suggestions about the QBO layout.
3. Click Next to submit them.

In the meantime, you'll want to switch to the Accountant view which is very similar to the old layout's appearance. Just click the Gear icon in the upper-right hand of QBO and select Switch to Accountant view.
