Yes, you can make a price list and link it to your customers with QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), @abujamous_2004. Let me show you how.
With QBDT, it's called price leveling. Price Levels is under the Advanced Pricing feature (subscription-based) that can automatically change prices based on customer type and allows you to offer quantity discounts. Once you assign it to a customer, QuickBooks can:
- Change the price of all items sold to customers assigned a customer type in the customer centre.
- Define specific item prices to charge customers assigned to a customer type.
To create a Price Level, here's how:
- Go to the Lists menu.
- Choose Price Level List.
- Select Price Level at the bottom then, choose New.
- Enter a name for the price level on the Price Level Name field.
- Select OK.
With Advanced Pricing, QuickBooks automatically changes the prices of items on sales forms according to the rules you create. To know more about this, I'd recommend checking out this article: Use Advanced Pricing. It includes topics about price rules and how you can manage them in the system.
Also, I'm adding this article to guide you in managing your business's growth using QBDT: QuickBooks Help Articles. You can click the + More topics button to view other selections. Then explore video tutorials to learn your way around QuickBooks.
Let me know how it goes in the comments below. If you have other concerns about the price list and managing customer transactions in QBDT, I'll gladly help. Take care, and I wish you continued success @abujamous_2004.
