Other Questions

It's okay, @blubot. We're glad to share additional information on your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) backup file.

We understand that you want to restore your backup file to make it work again. However, it's from an older version of QuickBooks that's already a discontinued version and region of QuickBooks.

The oldest QBTD version you can download or activate is 2010 from our website. QuickBooks 2008, 2007, and 2006 are old versions that are no longer supported. With that, we're unable to activate them as a new product.

In your case, we recommend reaching out to our Technical support team. You can ask for the best way to handle your backup file since it's already from an old version of QBDT and it's from an international region. You can visit this website to connect with our support: Contact QuickBooks Support Team.

If there's anything else we can do, please let us know. We want to make sure all of your concerns are addressed. Take care always!
