Let me share with you some insights about uploading stock items in QBO. QuickBooks lets you enter the same product code for different items. However, having the same product name isn’t possible in QBO.
QBO can easily recognize the item that already exists. That being said, you’ll want to add a stock code as a name extension so each item differs. For example, if you have an item name chips upload the same product as chips-2. This way, you’ll be able to upload the same stock item in your QBO account.
