Let me share details about how to get your transactions back in your QuickBooks Online account.
We regret to inform you that QuickBooks has no way to recover a deleted transaction. However, using the Audit Log, you can recover the details of the deleted transaction and re-enter it.
- Go to Settings ⚙.
- Select Audit Log.
- From the Filter ▼ dropdown menu, select the appropriate user, date, and event(s).
- Select Apply.
- Locate the deleted transaction.
- Under the History column, select View.
- All the information needed for the transaction is available under the Event column.
- Re-enter the transactions with their original transaction date.
If you can't see any information within the Audit log, I recommend calling our support team to investigate the error you encountered.
Here's how to call our support team:
- Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
- Click the Help button at the top right corner.
- Go to the Search tab, then select Contact Us.
- Enter a brief discussion about the lost data, then click Continue.
- Choose a way to connect with us: Ask the community, Start a chat or Get a callback.
