To find out how many user licenses you have, you can press F2 within your company file. This way, the Product Information window will open. From there, you can see how many license seat you have. Check this article for more details: Add a user license to your QuickBooks software.

The maximum number of users for the QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus is 3, which you can review on our website here: QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus. If you've bought QuickBooks Desktop with 2-3 users, the file can be accessed by the other users simultaneously. This means that both user 1 and user 2 can log into the same company file at the same time.

Let's make sure to install the program properly. Below are the steps that will help you install QBDT on the second or another computer:

Download the software through this link: Download QuickBooks Desktop.
Complete the download information and click Search.
Tap on the Download button.
Once the download is complete, the installation will automatically start. If it doesn't, double-click the installer file to proceed.
Select Yes to All, then hit Next.
Mark the Software License Agreement then click Next.
Enter the License and Product numbers, then hit Next.
Pick the type of installation you want.
Choose where you want to save QuickBooks.
Pick a new install location or select Next to install to the default directory.
Tap on Install.

On the other hand, if you are using a QuickBooks Desktop 2021 license for one user, you'll want to purchase an additional seat, so your current license will be for 2-3 users.
