Other Questions

Hi there, Abdul Rehman.

I appreciate you sharing with us a screenshot of your concern. Refreshing the connection can help you get back on track updating the company information.

Here’s how:

  1. Let’s open your company first and go to the Help menu at the top to select Reset App Data.
  2. Wait for a moment for the process to complete and then close the app.
  3. Right-click beside it and Run as the Administrator.

Next, navigate to the Account and Settings page again and change the information. If you continue to receive the same error, let’s uninstall and reinstall the app to start on a clean slate.

The processing of removing the app depends on the Windows version you’re using. Check out the QuickBooks App for Windows and Mac article under the How do I uninstall? section for detailed steps.

Once done, visit this site http://quickbooks.intuit.com/apps/ to get the installer link. This will take you to another page.

From there, go to the Get the QuickBooks Mac or Windows App section and then hit the Free Download button.

On the Easier access to QuickBooks Online page, scroll down to choose the Download Now menu. Double-click on the file to launch the installer and then follow the instructions to finish the installation process.

If none of these steps work, access the account using a browser. From there, update the company details.
