Got the same message, kept trying to efile every 30 seconds or and it eventually went through, looks like it might be really busy. I needed to file 4 returns and it did that every time.

I have just one return for 2019 to efile. I've tried 5 times. Now I'm getting this message:
EFILE Service responded with External Server Errors. Please try again later

Product development is working on this issue. They suggest to continue to try and file these returns: some returns are being accepted, the issue seems to be the result of high filing volume

Thanks for informing, although the excuse of "high level traffic" has been overused in the past.
Were this like in previous years, a widespread problem affecting all manufacturers, it would be acceptable.
But when a problem is exclusive to a certain manufacturer, you can be guaranteed it is an internal overlook or issue.
It is very unfortunate to put this type of pressure on your trusted clientel, especially since we have ALL had to adjust to service our clients in this pandemic, including having to work extra hours and take extra precautions.
For a service of the "said quality" selling at a premium price, I would not have expected this to happen.
Questions:
1- Will Profile compensate all penalties and/or interest that might arise due to this lack? it is currently almost 10PM in the atlantic provinces and approaching 9 here in Quebec. I did not really want to be up all night!
2- Will you keep us updated in this channel? We need to KNOW what is going on.

Unfourtunately to convert all my files to taxprep or someone else would be to costly.... I just hope profile can get with the program soon!
First they need to recognise that QUEBEC EXISTS and to link the forms properly.
Then the need to stay up to date with what is ACTUALLY going on.
I spoke to collegues that use Taxprep, and they were all in bed by 9PM (or watching the game)
I HAD TO RAGE IN FRONT OF MY SCREEN ALL NIGHT!!!!! Not happy. Hope you will be sending REBATES OR DISCOUNTS for next years program to your subscribers, as this is UNACCEPTABLE!

This never happened last year, so, what is going on this year? I am having a lot of issues with ProFile, a lot of time the software screen would close by itself while I'm still working on it. And plus, I don't know if it's just me or it's happening with others as well, CRA's taking forever to assess even some of the simple t4 returns. Everything is so messed up this year. Is TaxPrep any better than ProFile?

Hello
Despite trying multiple times in last 3 days it continues to show me below error message :
Unable to get response from the Government Agency. Please try again later
com.intuit.pcg.canada.transform.model.exception.PayloadBindingException: cvc-pattern-valid: Value '' is not facetvalid
with respect to pattern '[0-9]{9}' for type '#AnonType_SpouseSocialInsuranceNumber'.
What are my options to resolve this - I called CRA and they have labeled it to be a software issue. Kindly help

Tried again this AM. Same message. However, I did solved my issue with this message. Could have been 1 of 2 things or both. My clients turned 65 in 2023 and did not apply for CPP. Was trying to not to have CPP premiums calculated on their business income. Removed that. Secondly when their rental properties carried forward, the one that was sold left the first address blank, had to move the remaining one up into that space. Hoping this makes sense! Then it filed.
