FT Student T4A reporting. HELP
I have a FT University Student who have received a T4A from Govt. Please see photo below
When I did my AutoFill thru ProFile, It fill it as income, where its highlighted green. I then re-entered that amount in the "Eligible for full-time education amount" because the client is a FT Univ Student.
It is my understanding that if you are a full time student, you don't need to report it, correct? If you are a part time student or not a student at all that year, you are only exempted for the first $500....

The software will report zero on the tax return as long as you enter the T2202 properly showing the tuition and #of months of full time attendance

Did I do it right?

Yes that is correct. Auto fill inserts it but does not know if they are full time or part time. We need to put it in the correct spot.
