In our office, we have multiple workstations (with Profile installed in every workstation), and all the files/returns are stored on a LAN, and every workstation is mapped to this network drive.
With Covid, we plan to store all the files/returns off-site (e.g. https://aws.amazon.com/lightsail/pricing/), this would enable remote access & client-server set up. Please keep in mind that even with this set up, Profile will be installed in every workstation.
Our office and most users have internet speed: 25 down, 10 up.
Questions, comments:
1. Speed, performance issues (like latency)
2. Comments, suggestions from people on above, especially people who have experience in this set up
3. Any other solution to tackle remote access for multi-users
4. Does Intuit provides their own hosting/solution to tackle multi-users?
