This was a clean install, new install in Windows 10 Partition created new in VMWare specifically for Windows 10 upgrade. However, we had this problem in Windows 7 as well. I was hoping that we could move the company files to a place where daily backup was scheduled. The desktop seemed the easiest location because it was shared by both Windows and MAC 100%
