Hi, @cs1234. I want to ensure this is taken care of firsthand here in the Community. I'll be right here to help you fix the issue so you can open QuickBooks and do your business as usual.

Usually, this error happens when the system could not initialize the license properties when activating or opening QuickBooks. To isolate the issue, you can start by running the 3371 Error Fix from the QuickBooks Tool Hub.

  1. Close QuickBooks.
  2. Download the most recent version (1.5.0.0) of the QuickBooks Tool Hub. Save the file somewhere you can easily find it (like your Downloads folder or your Windows desktop). If you've installed Tool Hub before, you can find out which version you have. Select the Home tab. The version will be on the bottom.
  3. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
  5. When the install finishes, double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.

From the Tool Hub, run the 3371 Error Fix.

  1. In the QuickBooks Tool Hub, select Installation Issues.
  2. Select 3371 Error Fix.
  3. Hit OK.
  4. Start QuickBooks Desktop and open your data file.

Another way around is to install QuickBooks using the clean install process. This helps you fix company file issues and won't affect your data at all. Here's how: Clean install QuickBooks Desktop.

If you still see the error after the clean installation, I recommend working with an IT professional or contacting Microsoft for further assistance. There may be damage to your Windows Operating System wherein they can check and review further.

Once everything is in place, you're now ready to get started working with QuickBooks.

Let me know how else I can help you with QuickBooks Desktop. I'll be right here to help. Have a good one!
