Move to QuickBooks Online

The other major issue is that the client is without their program for a minimum of a week and must either not enter data or be prepared to enter everything twice in the waiting period. Neither is acceptable and is subject to someone elses timing. We should be able to do it ourselves at a date and time that suits the businesses.
Most of the time we would offer the conversion in 2 stages. The first stage was for historical data (i.e 2020 and older) and the second stage was for current data (i.e 2021). We wouldn't proceed to the second stage without our client's approval. During the second stage, our client had 2 options to post their ongoing transactions after the cut-off date (i.e record them manually in XLS or keep using their current system). Once the second stage is completed, our client may consider to import the additional data by themselves into QBO or purchase another additional service to import it. We always try to limit our client's downtime to access their system.
