Hi there, @Deano2.
There isn't an option to add a custom field in the Project Profitability Report. However, you can consider pulling up the Transaction List by Customer Report and add a custom field from there. I'll be glad to guide you on how to achieve this.
First, let's edit your current template or create a new style. Here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon.
- Under Your Company select Custom Form Styles.
- Select Invoice from the New style drop-down menu.
- Select the Content tab and click the Header.
- Click the Custom field link and mark all custom fields.
- Click Done.

You also have the option to Import Custom Form Styles for Invoices or Estimates.
After going through the steps above:
- Go to the Reports menu
- Type in Transaction List by Customer Report in the search tab.
- In the Group by field, select Salesman from the drop-down menu.
- Click Run report.
