Manage Customers and Income

Hi Ken,

I appreciate you sharing your experience with adding tax codes on invoices using the QuickBooks mobile app.

To better understand the issue, could you let me know if you encountered any error messages or prompts while attempting to add the tax code? If so, can you share the details of the message?

In the meantime, clearing the app data on your device can help by refreshing the app’s stored settings and resolving any issues affecting the tax code feature. You can follow the appropriate steps based on your device.

For Android devices:

  1. Go to the Settings on your Android device, and choose Apps or Apps & notifications.
  2. Locate and select QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  3. Tap Storage or Storage & Cache and click Clear Data or Clear Storage.
  4. Confirm the action if prompted.

For iOS devices:

  1. Open your phone Settings and tap General.
  2. Click iPhone Storage and choose the QBO app.
  3. Tap the Offload App to free up the storage.

Alternatively, you can use a mobile or computer browser to access your QBO company, where you can manage the tax codes on your invoices.

If you require any help with the mobile app or other QuickBooks-related issues, please don’t hesitate to respond to this thread. We're always available to help you.
