Manage Customers and Income
I'll be glad to help you find a feature that you can record your money ins in QuickBooks Online.
Before we proceed, I would like to ask for further information about your money-ins. Are you referring to a deposit or a payment you received from invoices? Or do you have any other money-ins in your account? It would be great if you could provide specific information so I can provide the best option for you.
In the meantime, if you are referring to a deposit, here's how:
- Click + New, then choose Bank deposit.
- From the Account ▼ dropdown, select the account you want to put the money into.
- Tick the checkbox for each transaction you want to combine.
- Make sure the total of the selected transactions matches your deposit slip. Use your deposit slip as a reference.
- Select Save and new or Save and close.
If you want to record invoice payments, follow the steps below:
- Select + New, then choose Receive payment.
- From the Customer dropdown, select the name of the customer.
- From the Payment method dropdown, choose the payment method.
- From the Deposit dropdown, select the account you put the payment into.
- Tip: You can put the money directly into an account, like your current account, or select Undeposited Funds if you need to group the payment with others.
- In the Outstanding Transactions section, select the checkbox for the invoice you're recording the payment on.
- Select Save and close.
