Hello there, Anthony. Let's work together on applying a discount in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

To apply a discount in QBO, ensure that the Discount feature is enabled in your settings, as the option will only be accessible on transactions when activated. Once activated, you can input the desired amount or percentage in the corresponding field while processing a transaction.

 

To do this, here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon or Settings and select Account and Settings.
  2. Click the Sales tab and Edit under Sales form content.
  3. Turn on the Discount option.
  4. Click Save and then Done.

Lastly, finalize your transaction by applying a discount to your invoice, quote, or sales receipt. Enter the discount as a percentage or specific amount in the sales form, then save the transaction to complete it.
