Thank you for following up and for trying the different tags, Adam. I understand how important it is to get your imported invoice correctly displaying tax-inclusive amounts.
Please know that QuickBooks Online (QBO) supports only specific mapping tags for imported templates, and the functionality to show tax-inclusive amounts directly via a custom import is limited.
The <amountwithgst> <amountwithtax> and <grossamount> tags are not part of the QBO-supported mapping tag list, which is why they are being flagged as "Not Correctly Mapped."
I recommend sending feedback to our product engineers if you prefer to use <amountwithgst> <amountwithtax> and <grossamount> tags.
Here’s how:
- Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
- Type in your suggestions.
- Then, Submit your request.
In the meantime, you could temporarily use one of the custom form styles instead. Then, enable the Show tax-inclusive amounts option and customize the invoice layout to match your custom imported design.
You could also explore third-party apps that you can integrate with QuickBooks that can generate invoices that meet your exact requirements.
