Hi Craig,
If you are referring to deleting the templates you created under "Custom Form Styles", you can delete them by clicking on the downward pointing arrow right next to "Edit", or "Preview PDF" if it's an imported style, then click on "Delete".
Please let us know if it is something else that you need help with.
Thank you.

Thanks for getting back to us, @craig-george
QuickBooks Online has a Custom Form Style feature. Let me show you where to locate it:
- Go to the Gear icon.
- Select Custom Form Styles under Your Company.
- Click the Drop-down arrow next to Edit.
- Select Delete.
- Click Yes, delete this style to confirm.
I've attached a screenshot below:
Also, you might want to check this article on how to customize invoice emails.

I tried following these instructions, but the arrow for the drop down menu does not offer anything, it simply opens and editing window. Please advise.

Let's try browser troubleshooting.
This is to check if the problem is browser related. Let's start accessing your account via a private browser or incognito. Here's how:
- Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: Command + Shift + N
If it works, follow the steps above to delete the invoice template. Then, we need to clear your browser's cache to optimized your browser performance.
If the same thing happens, I recommend using another supported browser.
Let me know how it goes, I'd love to help you further.

Not sure if this will help as I am using quickbooks desktop contractors edition:
however it worked for me.
I was getting frustrated because I could not get the template I customized to be my default invoice template and what I found is that even though I can not delete some of the old templates but I can make them inactive so the other ones do not show up and it will make my custom template the only and default one that shows when I make invoices.
Lists>Templates>Right click on the template you want to delete or make inactive>Click Delete template or Make template inactive
Your welcome (:
