You can reset the app data to restore it to its default settings. Let me guide you how.
- Select Help.
- Choose Reset App Data.
However, if you're still getting the same error, you can uninstall and reinstall the app to refresh it. Here's how:
To uninstall:
- Drag the QuickBooks Windows app from the Applications folder to the Trash.
- To completely remove the app, go to Finder then choose Empty Trash.
To install:
- Select the QuickBooks.dmg file in the downloads section.
- Drag QuickBooks to the Applications folder.
- From the Applications folder, launch the QuickBooks App and the program will load to the sign-on page.
- Click Sign In, if you have QuickBooks Online account.
