Manage Your Account
Resending an invoice should not require you to enter a password, andrew-drinkdope.
Unless your books are already closed. This is why you're asked to enter a password. Remember that the closing of books will protect transactions from being edited without permission or password. Use your closing date password to resend the invoice successfully.
If the books are open, I have a few troubleshooting steps you can try to check if this is a cache related issue. Let’s start by logging in to your QuickBooks Online account using a private window. This mode prevents the system from using stored internet history, passwords, or cookies.
Here are the shortcut keys for each browser:
- Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome
- Ctrl + Shift + P for Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox
- Command + Shift + N for Safari
If you're no longer prompted to enter a password when sending the invoice, clear the cache on the browser you previously used. This enhances the overall performance of the browser and the application. You can also use a different browser.
Let me know if there's anything else that I can help with.
