Manage Your Account
Hi info,
We put much value into your account and data security, and we'd like to keep it that way with your synced accounts, too.
The email alert that you've received doesn't necessarily mean that your bank is hacked. Most banks send alerts like this to ensure that only you are accessing your account even if you're using another device, or logging in through a different domain, like intuit.com.
Also, this is how to update your username and password:
- Choose Banking.
- Select on the account.
- First, do a manual update. For these steps, please see: Automatic and Manual online banking updates. This should prompt error 103 with a Reconnect my account link. Select Reconnect my account and reenter your new credentials.
- If an error is not prompted or you do not see the link to reconnect my account, select the Pencil icon on the right of the bank name to edit.
- Select the Edit sign-in info.
- Enter in your updated bank website User ID and Password.
- Select the Save and connect.
- QuickBooks Online will connect with your bank to verify the info you've entered.
- Once you see the message that your credentials have been updated, select I'm done, Let's go!
Fill me in if you have further concerns.
