Hello there, @Drex!

 

You can manually create the opening balance of your new company by entering it directly from your chart of accounts.

  1. Go to Accounting.
  2. Select Chart of Accounts.
  3. Click New.
  4. Under Account Type, select Equity.
  5. Below the Detail Type menu, select Opening Balance Equity.
  6. Enter the name of your new account.
  7. Under Balance, enter your opening balance entry.
  8. Click Save and close.
