I struggled with this for months, I finally reached out to customer support through the phone and they got me through it in a few minutes. Turned out I had to get 2 verification codes in a row (which I am sure I did multiple times in the past) but it worked with them. The only thing that I may have done differently is that there are 3 bullet pointers of my phone number and I used

 

  • bullet point 2 and then
  • bullet point 3 

 

I doubt this did anything but when you have tried everything and it finally works document everything !!!!
