Let me share some information about installing the QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
You can install the QuickBooks Desktop 2016 version. As the older version is no longer available on our website, the latest version we can provide to QuickBooks Desktop Premier 2016 is R17.
However, you can use third-party merchants to install the QBDT 2016 R5 version.
In the meantime, if you want to install our latest QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) the R17 version, follow the steps below:
- To get the download link for your version of QuickBooks, visit the Downloads & Updates page.
- Select your country, product, and version.
- Click Download.

Please know that we can't guarantee that the outdated software will be working on your newer systems. I suggest purchasing the latest version of QuickBooks.
